Playful Deviled Egg Chicks

   1Peel the hard-boiled eggs.

   2Using a sharp knife, slice off a thin layer from the base of each egg to create a flat surface.

   3Cut off the top third of each egg.

   4Gently squeeze the base of the egg to loosen the yolk, allowing it to pop out.
5. 5Keep the tops paired with their bases.
6. 6In a mixing bowl, mash the yolks with a fork.
7. 7Add mayonnaise, dijon mustard, garlic powder, and salt; mix until smooth.
8. 8Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and fill the egg bases generously.
9. 9Replace the tops and press down slightly to secure.
10. 10Use a straw to poke holes in the olives for eyes, then insert them into the egg.
11. 11Slice the carrot rings into sixths for beaks and insert them accordingly.
12. 12Arrange the chicks on a platter and garnish with parsley or dill.
