Crispy Potato Pancakes

   1Peel the potatoes and grate them finely.

   2Grate the onion and combine it with the grated potatoes.
3. 

   3Drain the mixture to eliminate excess moisture.
4. 

   4In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix in the flour, salt, and pepper until smooth.
5. 

   5Incorporate the drained potato and onion mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.
6. 

   6Heat about ½ cm of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (approximately 180°C).
7. 

   7Spoon 60 ml of the potato mixture into the hot oil, spreading it to about 1¼ cm thick; you can fry three pancakes at a time.

   8Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, flipping halfway through for even browning.
9. 

   9Once cooked, drain the pancakes on paper towels before serving.
